These four words are the beginning of a little poem that borrowed my pen and a page of my journal in announcing itself one afternoon. I simply love to admire this fragment of text. It is a continual source of awe to me that the power of something like the American civil rights movement or the vitality of a document, such as the Declaration of Human Rights, began within individuals. Our feelings shape the forms of our world. Our ability to feel is our power.
In the case of this design , I paired the text with the shape of a particular set of wings I love from a carving at Trinity College, University of Toronto.
